My @ss is red, my shoulders are relaxed … floating a bit while i get some breakfast, finally.
Bear comes down from the bedroom of the youngest and tells me he’s already up. He had gone up to wake him and give W his meds.
The floaty feeling now tempered with a bit of responsibility … caution … worry.
I hope he hasn’t heard us, was this a smart choice? I guess we’ll find out soon enough!
New toys are being ordered and i’m tentatively excited and optimistic that we might actually be able to get back into more ‘impact’ in our D/s. *wink*
My child’s mental welfare is obviously the most important thing in this equation BUT i already find myself humming while i run around doing whatever needs attention this morning.
Just a few minutes of this type of connection and we both feel better …. it’s a tight rope we walk these days. It has been for a long while and it has taken its tole on us.

Ah ha! New toys! Much luck wished, and pleased to see you’re getting what you need, what you both need. Kids are pretty smart about a lot of things. They might actually know a lot more about what’s going on than you think. No matter how careful you might be.
So long as they (eventually) know it’s consensual, you’re both doing this together, that’s what matters in the end.

That’s true, i know that they know we are not exactly the same as everyone else! LoL It has been some years already that my oldest openly calls us kinky!
What we did find (and i have written at length so i won’t now) was that noise became a trigger to my youngest and his disorder sent him into a huge panic cycle.
He seems to be able to get out now and noise is becoming manageable so we are hopeful here too …. i won’t go into the physiological implications of seeing the person who kicks ass for you as any less than warrior, i’m pretty sure he has been able to consolidate those ideas again.
Anyway, thanks for the much luck …. fingers are totally crossed over here, and Ears!! ;P

That is VERY, VERY true! That’s exactly what we are going for …. just not causing damage to another in the mean time. We’re getting there, finally! 😀
